That purpleheart slab is genuinely jaw-dropping in person! The tones in the grain are so rich, definitely the centerpiece of the whole room now.
What blew my mind most was the motor. It hums so soft that my cat literally stays curled up dead asleep right on the edge while it lifts up to standing height. Doesn't twitch an ear.
Zero wobble even fully extended, which is wild considering how thick this thing is. Now if only I could muster the energy to sort through the rat's nest of charger cords dangling off the side 😂 absolute chaos down there, but the desk itself? 100% worth every dime.

Total non-issue here. Loaded up a pair of heavy 8-inch studio monitors alongside two displays, and this beast literally refuses to budge when I lift it up to track standing. Grabbed the riser shelf plus two of the slide-out drawers, which basically swallowed my stray quarter-inch adapters, plectrums, and mic leads so they stop vanishing mid-session.

Got two fat screens clamped on for dev work and late-night Discord sessions, plus a heavy boom arm for my mic. Usually when you crank these motorized desks up to full height, heavy arms start bouncing like crazy with every keystroke. Not this one. Planted completely flat.
Those under-mount drawers swallow all the stray dongles, loose DACs, and stray adapters so my actual work area stays completely bare. Studio feels twice as big now, zero buyer's remorse 💯
